Clothes don't dry

We have an older model Whirlpool gas dryer model # GGQ88584Q0. When we put the clothes in and start the dryer, the dryer runs multiple times without drying the clothes. I thought it might be the thermocouple, but could find no way to access the heating element. The dryer was given to us by some friends about five years ago, the previous owners only had it for eight months and did not supply us with the owners manual. It looks like the front of the machine might come off, but again I could find no way to remove it. Any help in this situation or an instruction manual would be a great help. Thank

Window Scuff Marks And Grease Stains Are Making Me Crazy! How Do I Deal With The Cleaning?

Hey pal, Scott here. I have just the right solution for the scuff marks. Scratches are particularly hard to deal with especially when it comes to the delicate surface of a glass or mirror. Even the little uneven scuffs are clearly visible on glossy surfaces. But guess what, there's a simple trick to remove them for good. You'll need some smooth peanut butter ( yes, you read that right ), car window cleaner, a couple of clean paper towels and you're ready to go. Simply smear a hefty dose of the peanut butter on the scuff mark, then wipe away with the paper towels and spray with the car cleaner. You'll be amazed how well this works. Regarding the greasy smears, here are a couple of suggestions you might try. First off, try rubbing in some corn starch on the grease and then wipe away with a clean cloth and some cold water. The other suggestion that I overheard from a couple of window cleaners from Sydney is to use fabric softener sheets to wipe away the grease. Haven't really tried that one, but my wife says it works like a charm. Last but not least, if anything else fails you, gently rub some baking soda with a bit of water on the greasy windows and leave the substance deal with the grease for an hour or so. Wish you luck and let me know which has worked best for you.

I BOUGHT A FORCLOSED HOME AND IT HAS A CORNER STYLE WHIRLPOOL BATH- SINCE I DONT KNOW A THING ABT THESE CREATURES I HAVE 2 QUESTIONS. I HAVE A DRIP STYLE LEAK FROM AN ITEM THAT ON THE INSIDE OF THE TUB IS LIKE A CAP ABT THE SIZE OF A QUARTER, 1/8' THICK. THIS CAP TURNS -I NOTICED IF I TURN IT ALL THE WAY COUNTER CLOCKWISE THE DRIP STOPS. WHAT IS IT AND WHAT DOES IT DO? THE UNDERSIDE HAS A BLUE CLEAR LINE GOING TO A JET. # 2 THE INLINE HEATER DOESNT SEEM TO KEEP THE WATER AS WARM AS IT SHOULD- IS THERE ANYWAY TO ADJUST THE TEMP? THANKS..HOME DEPOT ISNT VERY HELPFUL p.s. where do I find the model number of this tub?

Inline heaters for whirlpool bathtubs will not and cannot maintain any comfortable water temperature. Their sole function is to slow the time it takes for the water to cool off. The myth of their capabilities has long been a misleading sales propaganda joke in the industry. Not all manufacturers put their model numbers on their tubs. Those that do will almost always post it on a label in the area of the tub where the back usually rests in the region of the motor but not on the motor itself. I believe your quarter size cap is an air control for you jet. It controls the amount of air coming out the jet when the tub is full of water and the motor is on. You should see the difference in swirling water turning it from right to left or the other way around. If yours has a leak then I certainly hope you find the Model number. Good luck.

Parts for duel flush

Your going to the wrong store instead of home depot Try Ace hardware they will have the parts you need there. Also some of the new toilets have a flapper valve that has a hole in them and they don't work very good so replace the flapper valve with one without a hole in the flapper and one that has a float on it this way the float will hold the toilet open long enough to flush and not stop in the middle of flushing. The handle should be a standard handle. If you need more help ask and I will give you more information.

Some jets dont work

Jets don't 'clog' - turn the face of the jet nozzle - it is perhaps an adjustable jet you have that has been turned off.

We have a saniflo. We were out, and our babysitter (who isn't familiar with saniflos) was in the bathroom and suddenly she said water was flooding out of the toilet - she said she had heard a loud noise that went on for ages, and when it stopped, water stopped flooding out. We got home and cleared 5 buckets of water from the bathroom floor. I looked at the saniflo and it was dry and looked ok from the outside. Later, when cleaning, I found an apple core, half chewed up, sitting in the pan. I'm pretty sure this would have blocked it and caused the flood, and in fact, we got loads of towels ready and flushed, and there was no leak. Does it sound like this is probably the cause and we should be ok now? (babysitter went AWOL so we can't ask her if she flushed the apple core!)

If the apple core was right at the pump intake at the time the pump kicked on it very well may have been the problem. The pumps in those units are not the strongest in the world anyway. They are not made to grind up anything that has any bulk to it. So the answer to the question in my opinion is yes. But you well want to keep a close eye on it for a while.
