Window Scuff Marks And Grease Stains Are Making Me Crazy! How Do I Deal With The Cleaning?
Hey pal, Scott here.
I have just the right solution for the scuff marks. Scratches are particularly hard to deal with especially when it comes to the delicate surface of a glass or mirror. Even the little uneven scuffs are clearly visible on glossy surfaces. But guess what, there's a simple trick to remove them for good.
You'll need some smooth peanut butter ( yes, you read that right ), car window cleaner, a couple of clean paper towels and you're ready to go. Simply smear a hefty dose of the peanut butter on the scuff mark, then wipe away with the paper towels and spray with the car cleaner. You'll be amazed how well this works.
Regarding the greasy smears, here are a couple of suggestions you might try.
First off, try rubbing in some corn starch on the grease and then wipe away with a clean cloth and some cold water.
The other suggestion that I overheard from a couple of window cleaners from Sydney is to use fabric softener sheets to wipe away the grease. Haven't really tried that one, but my wife says it works like a charm.
Last but not least, if anything else fails you, gently rub some baking soda with a bit of water on the greasy windows and leave the substance deal with the grease for an hour or so.
Wish you luck and let me know which has worked best for you. Read More At : Home...
