My shower only stays hot for a minute and then goes cold even though the hot water works everywhere else. I have a hot and cold tap and a third one to direct to shower or tub.

I would take a look at the stem replacement task. Maybe something is clogging the hot water flow, perhaps a damaged washer or debris

Moen single handled shower the hot water turns cooler then cold after a minute

Your whole house is likely plumbed wrong so that it is impossible to have equal pressures of both hot and cold at your shower. If you had your home plumbed with aquapex using a radiator for the hot water and a radiator for the cold water and have the radiators fed with a 1 inch line you can have close to perfect pressures.

One of my showers (witch is only 5 feet from the hot water heater) dosnt get hot and turns compleatly cold in less than 3 min, But the sink in the same bathroom gets really hot. The kitchen sink gets really hot as well as the upstairs shower and sink witch is locateded far from the HWH. The shower and bath faucet in question has a single nob that goes left for cold right for hot. Whats causing this and how do I go about fixing it?

Lets watch a video The hot and cold being reversed is an easy fix. When he took the handle off and exposed the cartage the small stem in the middle there are two flat spots on the stem with the screw hole in it just take some pliers and turn the stem 180% you don't have to turn the water off for this. DON'T TAKE THE KEEPER OUT FOR THIS! If cartage dosen't want to come out as mentioned in the video be ferm with it but don't get ruff. If the cartage was hard to get out it is a good idea to sand or clean the hole it came out of some very fine sand paper wraped around a pencel well do the trick. If you do sand use a squirt bottle and wash any debree out of the hole.

This sounds like the elements or you just may need to turn the heat up. If it under two years old call the manu on the warranty. They make a good product so they should help you. I would check the heat setting first, though I doubt it is going to be the prob.

I have a one handle Delta shower knob. I have turned up the hot water heater. All the other sinks within a few feet of the shower run very very hot but my shower stays a mild luke no matter what. The knob only goes from the COLD position (3 o'clock) to the mid-point (12 o'clock). Is there a way to get it to the HOT position (9 o'clock)?

On your single handle the first thing you do is remove the handle. To do this locate allen set screw on handle and select the right size allen wrench to fit it. Loosen set screw and pull handle out away from wall to remove it. There should be a plastic disc on the handle stem, slid it out to remove it.Remove chrome sleeve..On valve body there are marking that show hot or cold settings. Seperate teeth on geared flanges and rotate set stop toward h mark on valve body. Each tooth will change temperature about three degrees. Make trial setting and reassemble and try it out. If you want it hotter just repeat adjustments. If you try to go to far you will not be able to mesh gears, simply back off alittle bit and try again.Hope this helps you. Thanks
