Replacement kitchen sink sprayer will not fit

Please help! The unit already had an old existing sprayer that was malfunctioning. The old one unscrewed from inside a fixture. The new is a different size and it appears to fit over not inward. Do I need to convert it or what converter do I need. There also a nut that I can take off but it still does not fit.

Kitchen sink side spray clips/couplings don't match any replacement parts

First off I would put this issue at the top of my to do list because the laminate flooring will not hold up at all with a constant water bath. That being said, turn off the water to this faucet and remove the entire faucet. Take it to a hardware store or hardware department of a box store and see if the broken part can be replaced. If yes, good. If no, replace the faucet as this is a lot cheaper than replacing the laminate floor. Good luck

Responsibility for replacement of a faulty stainless steel sink

Unfortunately you probably will not get any $ out of them for labor. When the sink was purchased, I can almost guarantee it says they will replace sink only. I am a plumber and lots of plumbing fixtures are defective, but we the company will send a new one and owner has to pay for installation.

I have a new hose for my Grohe Euro Plus to replace a leaking old one. I have disconnected it from the water supply but now the ends of the the old hose will not fit through part connected to the sink (don't know the name). The ends are both too big. Do I have to take that faucet part off the sink? There is a plastic tube that the hose has to fit through and their isn't room. I don't know how to take the faucet off the sink.

There are 2 sets of nuts and washers underneath the faucet that holds the faucet in place. loosen them and the water lines (after turning the water off) faucet lifts off from the top of the sink. Replacement the the same, just in reverse. BE SURE TO USE TEFLON TAPE OR PLUMBERS PUTTY ON THE WATER LINE THREADS TO PREVENT COSTLY LEAKS.

Kitchen sink only running with the sprayer

It is hard to be certain without knowing the type of faucet, but if you have the type that has a single lever, it could be 2 things I can think of. If you have seperate knobs, I can only think of one. If you have the type with knobs, take the aerator screen off the end of the faucet, The screen may be plugged with saw cuttings of pvc or what ever type of pipe, or even the water saver orifice may be stopped up. If water runs freely with aerator off, you obviously have a problem there. If you have the lever type, the ball valve can be in backwards, or even a little way off, and the water can not get to the faucet. I am guessing, the whole faucet assembly MAY be in backwards, but that too can usually be fixed by changing the ball around. Hope this fixes you up!

I am guessing you have the square one then. You need to fit your waste as normal, Send the waste through a hole in the surface you are placing the sink on and make your connections underneath. I use plumbers mait as a sealant when tightening the outlet. You then need to think about your taps. Since they are totally separate from the sink you can use what you want. Most people would use a monobloc riser though, secured to whatever surface you are laying the sink on. You don't say how much you need to know about connections / plumbing etc. Please ask again if you are stuck with these.
