I bought a Kohler Sterling Vista Pivot II Pivot Shower Door (1507D-36S) shower door. The box said good for opening widths 31 1/4" to 36". My opening width is 34". I drilled to holes and began installing the door. However, it's too wide; when I try to close it, the shower door edge comes within 1/4" of the wall. To wide for the strike jam. What's wrong? What can I do to fix it? Steve Campbell.

On the top and bottom hinges of the door there are a couple of screw inside the hinge should be able to loosen them and slide your door back and forth inside the hinge to make it work at the strike jamb.

Need to replace drip cap on bottom of door - Sterling Plumbing 1500D-31S VISTA PIVOT SHOWER DOOR

O.k. these are usually attached with a double sided tape,...you need to get something like a scraper or the like and get in between it and the door,..go slow and pry it off,...SLOWLY! once you get the old one off, you'll need to clean surfaces with a rag and rubbing alcohol,....(very important for new one to stick),.....take your time with this operation,..it doesn't look like much but trust me, i've worked on many shower doors and patience IS your best friend,....again, go slow and pay attention to ALL details.
