Electric shower has suddenly stopped producing hot water.

No other problems with water pressure etc.The water coming out of the shower is just cold.It was working fine earlier today.Unit is a New Team 10.4 model 9.5kw and is about 4 years old.

No hot water

Check your fuse/breaker, should be a rcd switch. Depending when the shower was installed the fuse/breaker may be separate from the main fuse board, if it is an rcd switch it should be between 30A and 40A rating. If it is still fuse wire or cartridge fuse it should be replaced by residual current device. Remember to turn the shower off in the bathroom before returning power to it. Hope this helps

Triton Electric Shower Temperature too hot

You could have mineral deposits on the temperature probe inside of the unit. If you remove the heater and purchase a bottle of lime and scale remover (lime away) to put inside of it. Let the unit sit full of water and chemicals for 24 hours. Flush out the unit to remove any residue. You may see the water is brown if you have a lot of buildup. Reconnect unit and test your settings. If this doesn't work, install a anti-scalding device, available at a plumbing supply store.

I'm not sure what brands my faucet or handles are.

You can remove the center (Diverter valve) without turning water off, Will need deep well socket. Check the o rings and or washers and replace or take valve to Home depot to match with new. If you can't find one there go to local plumbing supply or ace. I turn hot then cold on and off real Quick while the valve is out just to clear anything that might be in lines. stand to the side or you will get wet! You might want to get new hot and cold valves while your at it just make sure to turn off water at meter before you remove them.
