Toto GMax Flushing System drips

This Toto toilet is great. However, while it does not run, one the tank fills up it continues to drip into the fill/drain pipe. Adjusting the flow level does not change this. What can I do to stop the dripping?

Continous water running

Just lower your float a little further. otherwise i'd adsume air is leaking out of your float. but if your float is up in the shut off position and water is still coming out. then you need a new assembly.

Toto Toilet - no water flow to refill tank after flush

Remove the tank lid and look at the fill valve. Is it a yellow valve? This fill valve is common on the Toto Toilets and can easliy plug with debrie. They can be disassmbled and cleaned. however, I usually just replace the valve with Fluid Master Fill valve. You will also want to check the water coming into the toilet by turning off the water that supplies the toilet and disconnecting the water supply line. After removing the water supply line turn on the water at the valve to make sure that the water is flowing properly. Check the supply line also to make sure it is not plugged. Be sure and place a small container to catch the water that will come from the valve. A towell will also help from making too much of a mess. If the Supply line and the valve are clear the problem is in the fill valve. The G-Max system denotes the Flushiing system which is a 3" flapper that allows the water from the tank to flow into the bowl quicker. Good Toilets! sanray

I have a new Kohler Toilet that has a different flushing system from other Toilets. It's about 1 year old now and I'm noticing a Drip noise on the 1st floor under this Toilet. It looks to me like the water level is a little too high and he running down inside of the flushing cylinder in the center of the bowl and you hear a drip on the floor below. How do I adjust the water level not to overflow the center cylinder ??

Basically, if water is flowing out of the overflow tube, then water must be coming in...I would suggest that you check the intake valve, it is probably not shutting off completely when the float comes up to the prescribed level, and continues to leak some water into the tank. That is what the overflow tube is there for.
