Toto fill valve continual problem, new toilet

There are cheep fill valves and ther better built fill valves, so make sure you buy aa quality fill valve. Also buy a pressuer gauge at ahard ware store and check water pressure level at a faucet outlet. Screw gauge onto water fauct leave a little room for air to escape when water is drippng out tighten the hose bib on the gage turn on the faucet and read the pressure. If it's more than 50 PSI you need to lower the water pressuer. I need to know if your on a, on site underground well,or are on city water to tell you what you need to do to to fix this problem. If there is one. thanks for using Fix-ya if you want more info post here. Avid101

I have a Toto toilet with a G-max valve. It does

Your local home center should sell a "Korky Model No. R528" to fix the valve without removing it. It's the cap that contains the washer. Replacement is easy and takes just a few minutes. Once you have the cap off it's a good idea to flush the sediment from the valve body by holding a large cup upside down over the valve and turning the water on for a few seconds. The cup will keep the water in the tank.

My Toto MS 853113S Ultra Max toilet has "run" since installed. It wants to flush itself sometimes and only shuts off after refilling from flushing for a few times and then you have to shut the water valve off to keep it from running continuously. Can you purchase new toilet flushing mechanisms instead of having to replace the toilet? Obviously, mine was defective from the beginning, but the place where I purchased it would not stand behind it.

Hi , replace your flapper on your flush valve assembly . the link below is a spares dealer in the US this helps p.s. these parts do wear out

Push Button - Have to Hold Down Button

I had the same problem. The fix cost me 50 cents (literally). I just placed a quarter on top of the Blue and White flush buttons (not sure of the technical terms) inside the tank and now it flushes properly. It seems that the 2 plastic poles the extend from the faux chrome buttons are just a bit too short. Hope this helps

My toto drake which has the g-max valve make a high pitch squeal when the toilet is flushed and also when it is finished filling. So at the start and stop.... Is this a defective valve or is there something I can do to stop this annoying sound? The toilet is only a month old and this has happened since day one...

I had the same problem and solved it. You need to replace the valve with a Korky 528t replacement valve, which is very quiet. The gmax valve is inherently squeaky and there is no fixing it. You can get the 528t on the internet as it is unusual to find it in a store (don't get the 528 which won't work properly on toto). Also you must use the replacement overflow tube that is packaged with the 528t. The original tube is too narrow and the bowl won't fill properly. The replacement takes 10 minutes.

Toto flapper seems ok but toilet keeps slow trickle into the bowl

The water inlet valve should close completely and stop water from coming into the tank before the water level reaches the "small tube." (This is the overflow tube.) There may be an o-ring or rubber gasket inside the valve that can be replaced. If not, you would have to replace the water inlet valve.
