The 'boost' button on my aqualisa digital shower won't switch off. It comes on when I press the shower on (without actually pressing the boost button) and when I press the boost button to try and turn it off the shower cuts out completely and won't restart unless I 'reset' it by switching the power off and on again

Good Morning drlesleyanne. The issue you describe will down to the PCB inside the push button controller. If this does not send the correct signal to the processor box it can cause the unit to 'fail safe' and this is why the unit needs a power reboot. The remedy to this is to replace the push button control itself and once installed should allow the shower to work correctly again. All our digital products have five year guarantees, so you can always call our Customer Service line on 01959 560010 and they will replace this for free. Kind Regards, The Aqualisa Team

Wirlpool bath pump doesn't stay on.

If this is a new unit you need to complain to whoever you bought it from. somehow it doesnt surprise me with the kohler name on it. I used to work for a company that sold mostly kohler stuff.

The jets on my Cielo tub will not go on when I press the button to activate the air jets.

This sounds like the motor is either bad or the air switch in the motor is bad or...the air button on the top of the tub is bad.Remove the pump and take the air switch out of the motor. Then plug the wires that went to the two terminals on the air switch to each other and plug the pump into an outlet you know has power. If the motor comes on then you know the pump is good. Now put the air switch back into the motor. Take a McDonalds straw and with the pump plugged into an outlet blow extremely hard into the straw placed into the opening of the air switch. If you can get the air switch to "click" and the pump comes on then you know you have a bad air switch. If the pump does NOT come on then you know you have a good air switch and a bad air button on the top lip of the tub.Any Questions give us a call on Monday.RodUS Parts Center888-521-6183

American Standard Motor humms

I think there is a clear or black tube connected to the pump on the back of the black box on top of the pump motor, there is a nut where the tube attaches to the back, unscrew this nut and pull the tube out. If it is not the tube type switch, the pump motor power plug should be plugged into a black or blue control box, this box should have a wire going to the switch in the tub. If you have a buzzing noise, the pump or motor is probably seized, This is caused from lack of use or using bath oils or soap in the tub, When you get the pump and motor out to check, stick a screwdriver in the back of the motor(center of motor hole may or may not have a plug in it) and turn the screw, itshould spin freely with little or no resistance.

I have an air-jet Ariance tub. Unless I unplug it, I cannot get the jets to fully turn off. I press the on/off button, it goes off temporarily, and then twenty minutes or so later it comes back on again. There is also a flashing red light by the on/off button that won't go off.

Www.whirlpoolbath.net/jetta/technical/jetta-owners-manual..pdf - United States http://www.spadepot.com/spacyclopedia/spa-troubleshooting.htm You most likely have a faulty air switch, or the Air pressure is too high and overriding your off setting, However if your problem is cyclic, almost exactly, then most likely you have a faulty controller. Check, all switches, and air valves pipes etc. This manual below may be of some help in the troubleshooting steps. my professional opinion though that everyone should get their units serviced by their manufacturers approved service engineer, by, contacting a head office, of your unit & getting an approved serviceman is just SO important, you see the Engineers, are trained on the equipment you have, they usually have parts on hand, and do the job quicker. Anyway do that and get a "Quote". This way, at least, you'll know weather to repair or replace. www.aquaticwhirlpools.com/assets/pdf/.../LuxeAir%20OM%2011-08.pdf
