Shower leaking when turned on more water runs down the outside of the hose connecting the head than runs down the inside

I had the same problem. I replaced the hose twice. Original hose lasted few years where the replacement hose lasted few months. I think it's something with the pressure, from the controller or in the shower head handle - too much back pressure. I replaced the handle yesterday.

Connected shower head to hose and the hose connection to shower head leaks back toward line. There is a white end over the inside of the end of the hose. I believe this restriction is causing the line to leak. There is no water coming through the!!!

I understand that the white vac breaker end should be connected to the valve not the hand shower. FYI a little leak from this connection when the water is switched off is normal.

I have a whirlpool bath in my master bath in my mobile home, years ago my grandson pushed the button to activate the jets without water in the tub, it hasn't worked since, yesterday I had a friend who is an electrician check it out, there is power running to the plug in for the motor and power in the motor as well, I filled the tub above the jets, pushed the button, and nothing, it's been like this for years, and I really want it to work, there are two clear hoses that say air switch, they are two separate hoses, connected on one end, but not the other, is that the way they should be or are they supposed to be connected to something on each end. I'm very frustrated with this issue and will gladly take any help you can offer.

The air switch should be connected to a switch by the motor the air switch is ur on off and should run from the button to another switch by motor the air switches were put in so there was not live wiring by the tub surface ,the the tub button/switch is like a bellows and pushes air into tube to turn switch on/off

If the problem is solely because of the rubber washer with screen you can buy any cheap replica hose and use the washer that comes with it. If the issue goes away you are done. If not, switch heads and see if the issue follows the head. If it does then there would be a crack in the head at the connection. If neither solves the issue then you must buy a new hose.

My mira elite 2 shower is leaking,The flow and tempt is ok. but the leak has got worse and it is cold water the leak is not from the hose that is connected to the shower head. It only leak when its on

The fact it is cold water means the leak is internal from the heater or the inlet and that is potentially bad news due to the presence of electricity in there. The shower must not be used until a competent person has removed the cover, located the leak and carried out the necessary repairs.

Hey Rick........the connectors are just large nuts at each end of the hose. If you remove one of the connectors there should be a a ring slipped around a grooved part of the hose with a plate. If you remove the clip the plate should slide off enabling you to remove the hose. Let me know if you need any more help. Thx Ken
