Bathroom stall shower

I recently bought a home where the plumber installed the shower head way too high up on the wall. Is there any hand held shower faucet that I can get installed without ripping out and moving the existing shower arm?

Yellow Spots on Bathroom ceiling/walls after showers

You will have to paint over your new paint with a primer called BIN which will dry in about an hour. Then you can put your color coat on that. Problem solved.

Shower stall in master bath of a 15 yr old home. the shower started having water problems after about 1 year, leaking water onto the drywall next to the stall. we have tried everything-recalking, sealing the grout, checking plumbing to see if it was leaking. about 5 years ago, we took the whole shower down to the studs and started over-we retiled, grouted, sealed, and calked. water problems again with wetness on the drywall. we pulled out the calk to recalk again, the shower has not been used for 3 days, and water is still seeping out between the tile and shower pan. who should we call to fix this problem?

Did you use plastic pipe? What about the shower head? Does it have a rubber o-ring in it? Pull the pipe out of the wall at the shower head and peek inside for the o-ring. If it is there, just snug up the pipe, do not over tighten. We were ready with crow bars in hand to destroy a brand new shower we just finished, because we thought we had w broken pipe, Then the owner says he torqued up the shower head as tight as he could and I read where it had to be just finger tight. One more place to check is the faucet itself, take off the trim ring and look in there for drips. It could be filling up the wall cavity and stay wet for days. I would take apart the drywall on the other side before busting up the tile again. Check it out.

We bought a home and our spare bathroom shower does not work. we replaced the moen valve and still cannot get water to come out of the shower. the toliet and sink in that bathroom work as they should. and we do get water to the tub without the valve in place....

Did you install the valve sideways or upside down? or is there a blockage in the hot line? the valve may be pressure balanced so if there is no water then there may be a blockage on one side. did you solder the valve? if so did you remove the cartridge? when you replaced the cartridge did you grease it with non-petroleum grease?

Toilet bubbles when tub drains could be from stuck toy in tub overflow?

The bubbling sounds like it's trying to get the air it needs to drain. Kind of like holding your finger over thr the top of a drinking straw and then lifting it out of the water. The water won't drain out until you lift your finger off the straw, allowing air to come in so the water can drain out. If the vent is clogged it could cause this. Squirrels dropped walnuts down mine and clogged it. The vent is the pipe that goes up through the roof, nearest to the toilet and shower. If the shower drain vent line is clogged it is possible that it could be sucking the air it needs through the toilet, sometimes actualling pulling the water out of the toilet. This is not very common but it can happen. If you can get on the roof and get a garden hose into the vent line(s), you can tell if it is clogged because water won't drain, it will come back out. You should be able to turn the water on full blast and it will drain normally if the vent is clear. It's possible that there is a connection between the toys and your problem, and the way you access that drain line is usually thru the wall on the opposite side of the shower controls/drain. I would start by running water down the vent lines on the roof. Good luck.

Where can I get a shower head that doesn't restrict water flow?

If your problem is low pressure, your best bet is a pump. not sure if you can get them where you are. Are you in the USA? Try Canadian shower heads. Shower Pumps High Quality and Performance bathstore

We have an accessible curbless shower in our second home. At the moment no one's in a wheelchair; we made it accessible for possible future needs. The shower pan doesn't drain as well as it should, so when anyone showers for more than ten minutes, there's overflow onto the bathroom floor. We're trying to find some sort of suction strip we could cut to fit, so we could contain the water within the shower but, if in the future we needed to remove the ''curb,'' we could. Any suggestions?

Build it out of what ever u want thats water proof and use silicone to put in place just put bead around out side so when u want to remove it- use a razor to cut around and its out of the way

I have off-white stains/residue on the metal parts of my shower door. I've tried vinegar and all typse of bathroom cleaners. I cannot remove the stain. It's driving me nuts. Does anyone know what the stain is, where it came from, how to prevent it again and how to get rid of them? My first thought is it came from a cleaner I may have used for the shower stall, but I don't know. Please help me!

White residue could be lime deposits from the minerals in your water,or corrosion if metal is aluminum. try CLR cleaner for lime deposits, use a piece of aluminum foil,'crunched' into a ball & dipped in water to remove corrosion, followed by polishing with an automotive type chrome/metal polish.
