I jhave in my showers the Moen and One handle tub and shower faucet, model # T3132. When I turn it on in the showers, there is no hot water... in both it gives me only cold water... even if I turn the handle to the right, towards heat... still runs cold water. Everywhere else in my house, and in the same bathroom I get hot water, in sinks and such... just not in the showers... I need help... What could be the problem? And what is the solution?

As you look at your valve on the right you will see a large screw fitting.inside this fitting is a temp/ pressure balance spool. it has failed for some reason and needs to be replaced. On both sides of the valve are 2 smaller screws. these are the water shut off valves. turn off the water and remove the larger screw fitting. remove spool and replace. Hope this helps.

You probably have galvanized pipes still, each time you turn off the water bits of rust will break loose and travel throughout the system , which in turn clogs , or holds open valves,, what you need to do, ( or have someone do for you) remove those valves that have been effected, and clean them out( you can do this easily by just turning on the main slightly with the valve out ,, But be ready for a wet mess ,, do it quickly and for just a short burst,, you'll more than Likely see that the toilet fills slowly since they get clogged also

Hi it sounds as though the thermostat has gone on top of the can assembly, or moreover it has scaled up & the element needs replacing, if thats the case your better off buying a new unit as the cost of the can assembly & the fitting it will be nearly as much, plus witha new unit you'll be getting a 2 yr guarantee? Just a thought!

At this point after having spent all that money, you have to figure something else is frying those boards. You need to make a decision whether to A: Call a Jacuzzi repair specialist B: Replace the the control panel, the board, and possibly even the heater and pump, thermometer and sensors. C: Cut your losses and buy a new Jacuzzi. Trade this one in on it for whatever you can get. And from personal experience, stay the h*** away from Ebay when it comes to electronics.
