Pour a little raw fuel into carb intake. try to start. if engine runs for a few seconds and quits the problem is more than likely a clogged carb. go to auto store and get a gallon can of carb clreaner and dissassemble carb and lower into bucket and let soak over nite. you'll want to get a carb kit to replace any gaskets that may get messed up during tear down. when you go back together make sure to wash any residue of cleaner out of carb and use a small nozzel air blower on air hose to blow out ALL passages any needle valves have to screw into. take a can of carb cleaner and with the small straw place over hole and squirt into hole. make sure cleaner come out some where in carb body. that way you know all the passages are open. reassemble and crank her up.also invest in a compression guage. remove pllug and screw gauge into plug hole. pull sharply at least 5 times and see what the reading on the guage is. should be at least 70 or better. if rings and valves in good condition don't be surprised at a reading of 120 or better.

This is a new toilet for me. The bowl has a water level that seems low - 2 inches below the D-shaped bowl opening. The tank water level is a little over half full. This toilet always clogs with solids. If I add a pitcher full of water before I flush, it works better. If it clogs, the D-shaped bowl opening is not friendly with the usual round toilet plunger so it takes me all day trying sporadically to unclog it. There is a Geberit mechanism inside the tank. I can't see how to adjust it. I received no manual. Could the problem be below the toilet. Is it time to call the plumber?

Hi, if the toilet is really new as you have said, that means you have a problem (with 2 inches below the D-shaped bowl opening. The tank water level is a little over half full which is unusual), please call in the plumber to check below the toilet.Take care

I have bought several shower heads as the spray pressure is low but none have helped. The pressure is ok on low setting on half heat but too cold. On full heat its too hot on min setting. Help plz ?

The problem is that all shower heads sold now have to be low water volume. You can take the restrictor out and see if that helps. Look for a blue or white plug type insert in the fixture that has a slot on it. Pull it out and you should be good. http://homeguides.sfgate.com/remove-water-restrictors-showerheads-27817.html and http://www.ehow.com/how_5189790_remove-flow-restrictor-shower-head.html

Half flush does a full flush

It's not nessesarily a half flush just as little water as is possible for that toilet. The full flush has just a little more. It may be hard to tell the difference.

Half flush doesn't stop running

Yes, If I remember correctly you need to replace the flush valves. I cant remember if there is just one or two valves but they need to be replaced. go to your nearest plumbing supply house (a home improvement store will not carry it) and get a new valve. This will fix your problem.

My toilet doesn't flush every time I flush it! It only flush If I pour a little more water into toilet bowl while water coming down toilet bowl! I've checked water level in tank and it was full filled to proper level. I bought my American Standard toilet last year. It works fine in a month and after that I had this flushing problem! Please tell me what went wrong. I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

I think the problem with your toilet bowl is in the tank fitting of it..you better check if the fittings are proprerly working..You also check the flapper and also the fillvalve. If it is not good already you can replace it by buying the tank fittings at the hardware store..And you better also be check it to your plumber for the second thought..
